Global Leadership in context, is the ability to guide, influence, and inspire individuals or groups across diverse cultural, economic, and geopolitical landscapes. Unlike traditional leadership, which may focus on a specific organization or community, global leadership requires a nuanced understanding of the interconnected world and the complexities that arise from it.​ This form of leadership is essential in a world where businesses, governments, and non-profits operate across borders and must navigate different cultural norms, regulatory environments, and market dynamics.

Dr. Wong's doctoral dissertation and published work titled Global Leadership: Navigating Cross- Cultural Systems provides students with a systemic- journey through the in-depth three (3)-module study program, designed for leaders, professionals, and change-makers who seek to excel in diverse cultural settings. The program provides comprehensive training in understanding, navigating, and leading effectively within cross-cultural systems. Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to manage cultural differences, promote inclusive practices, and drive successful outcomes in a globalized world.

The Advanced Certificate in Global Leadership course work is delivered on a hybrid platform through a combination of lectures and interactive discussions, delivered by a team of experts with extensive experience in cross-cultural systems, including socio-cultural, socio-gender, socio-education norms, plus more in a diverse global context.
Guest lecturers will include international practitioners and scholars.

Module I:
Navigating Cross-Cultural Systems
Module 1 of 3: Navigating Cross-Cultural Systems will focus on developing the ability to influence individuals from diverse backgrounds across cultural lines. Students will learn the importance of developing a global mindset by examining elements of leadership theory, international relations, management theory, and organizational behavior from a global perspective. Emphasis will be placed on communicating a clear vision, thinking strategically, and inspiring cooperation across cultural lines. Students must be able to navigate the challenges that may arise within an international eco-system. Extensive time will also be devoted to improving the individual’s and the group’s communication skills to function more effectively and efficiently as a global leader.
